On May 6 from 4:30-5:30pm PST, you’ll get the chance to participate in a Networking Happy Hour! Tips and Tricks for Your Job Search.

Featuring Carissa Edstrom, Business Development Manager at Experis, this talk will expand your understanding of job searching and networking in a time of remote connectivity.

On May 13 from 3pm-4pm PST, check out How to Simplify Your Spending and Saving Strategies, with ACT-W+ and Roy Hsu, a personal financial advisor with Edward Jones, for an educational Webinar that will teach you how to streamline your spending practices and be better successful saver. Especially in these uncertain times, understanding the how and the why of financial decision-making is such an important skill to have.

On May 15 from 11am-12:30pm PST, students can find another great chance to participate in a Mentorship Webinar with Sophia Liu, an Application Engineer from Nike.

Liu will be focusing on the ways in which extracurriculars can lead to career success.

And for our final event in May, join us on May 20 from 6:30-8:30pm PST for our Webinar on Rewiring Generations by Clearing Cultural Stuff.

Hosted by best-selling author, motivational speaker and transitions expert Cindy Gunraj, this seminar will focus on how to sift through cultural challenges in crafting the career environment that fits you best. Gunraj’s work has previously taken her to the UN, UNICEF, the HP Impact Network, and the Women’s Center for Leadership. In this workshop, you’ll learn:

· Ways to break through cultural taboos, so you feel more confident in the workplace

· Tools to succeed in a multi-cultural and diverse environment

Gunraj will draw on her personal experiences with navigating the terrain of diversity and cultural differences in the workplace.
