ChickTech: Volunteer

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. Inspired by ChickTech’s mission, our volunteers are vital to executing youth and career programming serving thousands of girls and women across the nation.

ChickTech empowers community members to change the face of technology in their city. With chapters across the country, we have built a multi-generational movement where people everywhere are improving their lives, the lives of girls in their area, and the technology industry. Too often, we hear that women in tech feel isolated and alone.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer roles range in commitment, from our most highly committed Chapter Leadership positions to our one-time, day of event support. Each Chapter may have different roles according to what is needed in their area. Volunteer roles can include leading a workshop to teach high school girls the latest in robotics, serving on a panel to discuss the best way to negotiate a salary increase, planning events, recruiting others to serve, and much more. In short, no matter what your interest or ability, chances are we have a role for you.

Visit Volunteer Match for a listing of all open positions. For more information on volunteering, please check out our Volunteer Handbook.

ChickTech Nation

ChickTech volunteers across the nation run programs to empower women and girls in technology. Chapters rely on each other for support and readily share information on what has worked for them. ChickTech welcomes all allies to become a part of what we affectionately call the #ChickTechNation, a network of people working towards this common goal. Our network of Chapters works together to develop best practices, share success, and create a stronger ChickTech Nation.
